Cute kids

Here are a couple of pictures that I have been meaning to post. This is Emmie kissing her cousin Avery a few weeks ago.

And here is my silly boy. He found my stickers and decided it would be fun to decorate his face, the floor and Emmie.

Racing Stripes continued...

Trying to put Hazen down for a nap today and he says, "I like cheese and candy and poop, Mom, just like the flies in zeera mooie!" For those of you who don't speak Hazeneese, "zeera mooie" = zebra movie = Racing Stripes. How do you not crack up at moments like these? I just sat and giggled with him and told him he better go back to sleep! Too funny!

Fun with the camera, like I don't have anything to do in the morning before school!

Poor Em hit her head at the sitter's house...still cute though!
Hazen found my stash of stickers and decided to decorate his body AND the floor with them...

As my Aunt Nancy says, "He has a 'Christina mouth'--big and ALWAYS open!"

Emmie's bangs

Decided that Em needed a haircut. Johnny Papa (great grandpa) finally got his way last Saturday when Nana cut her hair. She looks SO different! Not like a little baby anymore! My baby pictures look a lot like my little bug. She is growing up too fast!

Got milk?

What is it about milk moustaches on kids that is so cute? And, a bit on the nose too!

Racing Stripes and Hazen

Last night, Haze and I were watching "Racing Stripes." If you haven't seen it, you should--it's super cute. Anyways, one of the flies (David Spade) is talking about what he loves about life. He says, "Candy and poop." So I laugh and Hazen asks what I am laughing at. I say, "The fly said he likes poop!" And Haze says, "And Candy!" Too funny! Can you tell what my son's mind is on?!

Back to the courts again...

Yep, had our first basketball game last night. It had been a while since I stepped on a court and have played in an organized league. Last time would have been in 2002! So, 5 years and 2 kids later, I'm BAAAAAAAAAAAACK! :) Actually played decently even though by lungs were burning so bad I thought they were bleeding. Played 40 minutes with no subs, so I got a pretty good workout in. We won too! Thought for sure I would be dying and so sore I wouldn't be able to move. Not so much! My ribs are a bit sore and so are my clod hopper feet (that's not a new thing, feet always hurt after playing!). Matt offered to Fed Ex his hands to me from Oregon if I needed a massage (he thought he was SO funny and was going to make a copy of them and fax them to me at school. Okay, that WOULD be pretty funny!). But, no need for Fed Exing here! It's good to be back....

Fun in the leaves

Carrie was here to visit this weekend and helped me rake the HUGE pile of leaves in the backyard. She also brought out the wheelbarrow and gave the kids rides (she had quite the workout)....See what happens when you come visit the Westyn's? I put you to work! Anyone want to come see me--I need my carpets cleaned!

Halloween pictures

Here are some pictures from Halloween with the cow and Bob the Builder. We hit the cul-de-sac for some trick-or-treating and then came back to hand out candy. Hazen loved helping hand out the treats except for the "scary guys." He would say, "you're scary, you do it" and have me give out candy! Too funny!
